Social Services Agency (SSA) is hosting a Children and Families Health Fair starting at 9 am on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Orangethorpe Elementary School, 1400 S. Brookhurst Road in Fullerton.
Residents can receive health screenings and food while supplies last, apply for food, health insurance, and monetary benefits, and visit participating partners to learn more about other services and resources available to them.
SSA will bring its Mobile Response Vehicle—an office on wheels—and a team of eligibility professionals to assist attendees in applying for public assistance benefits or answer questions recipients may have about their current benefits. In-language services will be available.
Participating partners include the Fullerton School District, CalOptima Health, Community Action Partnership of Orange County (CAP-OC), ICNA, OC Health Care Agency, and more. Local folklorico groups will provide entertainment during the event.
The event parking is at Orangethorpe Elementary School and around the surrounding neighborhood.
The County of Orange Social Services Agency connects residents to public assistance benefits and resources, provides protective services for children and older and dependent adults, and supports families as they become self-sufficient. For more information, visit ssa.ocgov.com.
