They say summer bodies are made in winter — but this nutritionist says you can be beach ready in just one week.
Gabriela Peacock is sharing eight tips to transform your physique in seven days, which will come as sweet relief to those who put off healthy eating and exercise in the cooler months.
“While achieving a ‘beach body’ in just one week may not sound realistic or healthy, there are simple lifestyle tweaks that anyone can make to feel more confident and energized in a short timeframe,” Peacock proclaimed in an interview with The Sun.

The celebrity nutritionist — who has worked with both Princess Beatrice and Prince Harry — says her first tip is to hyrdrate strategically.
Peacock says herbal teas boost metabolism, so they’re best consumed in the early morning.
Additionally, lemon and cucumber infused water can reduce bloating, which is helpful if you’re shedding your shirt for a sunbathing session on the sand.
With excess water retention making bodies look bloated, the expert’s second tip is to avoid too much sodium.
Peacock says switching out salt for herbs and spices is one easy way to cut back on sodium, meaning you won’t be chugging too much H2O.

Third, the nutritionist recommends upping your intake of protein, saying it preserves lean muscle mass.
Peacock told Fabulous that cold meats, Greek yoghurt, boiled eggs, and sliced vegetables with hummus are easy replacements for processed foods such as chips or cereal bars.
Fourth, the expert advises that dieters incorporate a range of complex carbs, including quinoa, sweet potato and brown rice.
Such carbs fuel the body and leave you feeling full for longer, meaning you won’t be reaching for sweet treats or salty snacks before a summer beach day.
Meanwhile, Peacock’s fifth tip revolves around fibre.
Fibrous foods such as fruit and vegetables aid digestion and additionally work to stop any bloating.

Sixth: snack strategically.
The mom-of-three says you should stock your cupboard with items such as nuts and seeds to nibble on if you do get hungry — but don’t down an entire bag.
The nutritionist told Fabulous that her seventh rule was being strict about portion control.
Finally, it may seem like a bizarre tip, but Peacock says a sound night of sleep can help lead to a jaw-dropping beach bod.
The expert aims for 7-9 hours per night, saying a lack of shut eye can disrupt hormone levels and increase cravings for unhealthy foods, which will up effecting how you look on hot summer days.
