We recognize that many in our community may be feeling fear, uncertainty, and concern for the future. These results may have a particular impact on access to healthcare, insurance costs, mental health resources, and the protection of rights for BIPOC, queer, disabled, and other underserved communities. Project HEAL is devoted to breaking down systemic, healthcare, and financial barriers to eating disorder healing – we would be remiss not to acknowledge the emerging barriers that may be ahead.
We know that policies impacting mental health care, reproductive care, queer rights, racial justice, and disability protections are crucial to our collective well-being, and the path ahead may feel daunting. However, our work here at Project HEAL is unwavering. We are here to offer our support, now and as we navigate the hurdles that may emerge over the coming years.
Our programs for clinical assessment, treatment placement, cash assistance, insurance navigation, meal support, and community care will continue to be available. We will keep pushing for inclusive, accessible, and compassionate care — because everyone deserves support in their healing journey.
Please know that you are not alone. Reach out to us, lean on our services, and connect with others in our community. Together, we will continue crafting a world where every person with an eating disorder has the resources and opportunities that they need to heal.
In community,
Project HEAL
