There are a lot of eating disorder recovery podcasts out there, so which are the best and worth your while? Let’s take a look!
Please note: Some of these eating disorder recovery podcasts have occasional episodes about Intuitive Eating. I personally do not agree with the principles of Intuitive Eating because some people (including me) have a sugar addiction and can’t eat sugar without it causing a binge. Principle #3 of Intuitive Eating (Make Peace with Food) states the following:
Call a truce; stop the food fight! Give yourself unconditional permission to eat. If you tell yourself that you can’t or shouldn’t have a particular food, it can lead to intense feelings of deprivation that build into uncontrollable cravings and, often, bingeing. When you finally “give in” to your forbidden foods, eating will be experienced with such intensity it usually results in Last Supper overeating and overwhelming guilt.
Would you tell someone with any other addiction they can have just a little bit of their addictive substance? I stay away from recreational sugar because I know what just one bite will do to me.

#5. Never Binge Again™
Glenn Livingston, a psychologist, marketing consultant, and former binge eater hosts this podcast. I like listening to people who actually have or had an eating disorder so they can speak about it firsthand.
Quick facts
Description
Disillusioned by what traditional psychology had to offer overweight and/or food obsessed individuals, Dr. Livingston spent several decades researching the nature of bingeing and overeating via work with his own patients AND a self-funded research program with more than 40,000 participants. Most important, however, was his own personal journey out of obesity and food prison to a normal, healthy weight and a much more lighthearted relationship with food. Dr. Livingston records full-length coaching sessions and interviews with experts and distributes them herein.
