You’ll find a lot of people online are advocating the apple cider vinegar drug test method. This is where you use apple cider vinegar to fool a urinalysis, a urine sample drug test. But what actually is the apple cider vinegar drug test method (hint: it’s two methods), and does it work?
Well, I’m going to tell you everything need to know about the apple cider vinegar method. I’ll tell you what the science is behind it, how to do it, and answer the key question: does apple cider vinegar help pass a drug test?
But better than that, I’ll help you out by telling you about three other methods that I’ve personally used to pass urine sample drug tests over the past few years.
The Benefits Of Drinking Apple Cider Vinegar
Apple cider vinegar can have health benefits. It can help with skin conditions, and it’s been used in traditional medicine for centuries to help with infections.
So if you’ve got a bladder infection, kidney infection, a urinary tract infection, any of these things, then drinking watered-down Apple cider vinegar, similar to things like drinking cranberry juice, can really help.
It’s also good at detoxification. It can help the body to speed up removing toxins over time. But does that make it any good removing drug toxins?
The Apple Cider Vinegar Drug Test Method
There are actually two apple cider vinegar drug test methods.
You pour apple cider vinegar into the sample after you have urinated into the sample cup. It’s supposed to lower the pH of urine, which can potentially create a false negative in the result.
You drink the apple cider vinegar prior to the drug test with plenty of water. This helps to flush out your bladder and urinary tract, leaving you free of drug toxins to submit a clean sample.
The problem with method one is that its complete nonsense. Although there is some evidence that urinalysis testing can be flagged as a false negative by altering its pH, what do you think is going to happen when it’s tested for pH and found to be outside the natural range for human urine? That’s right, it will just get flagged as unnatural and you will fail. So even though it works, it won’t work.
The second method is to drink apple cider vinegar:
Mix in a couple of teaspoons with 16 fluid ounces of water and drink it
Repeat the process about one hour later
Drink 1 gallon of water over the following three hours
That all sounds really easy, but will it work? Well, scientifically there is absolutely no evidence that drinking Apple cider vinegar will remove drug toxins any more readily than any other liquid. Not a single shred of evidence.
So there’s no scientific basis for Apple cider vinegar working over anything else. It’s no better than plain water.
Plus, you are running the risk of completely diluting your sample. Human urine contains things like creatinine, vitamins, and minerals, waste products, that are detected by drug tests. If these have been fleshed out it will be flagged as unnatural and you will fail anyway.
So Does Apple Cider Vinegar Help Pass A Drug Test?
Does apple cider vinegar help pass a drug test? The unfortunate answer is no. Is just another home remedy lie that’s been spread around the Internet.
Most of these myths start with the fact that in the old days when urinalysis testing was more basic, you could dilute the sample and sometimes get away with it. People then attributed that passing to whatever they were mixing in with the water.
But using apple cider vinegar for drug test success is a complete waste of time, you will just get caught out. It’s just as if you were drinking cranberry juice, various teas, bleach, baking soda or any of the other crazy nonsense that people suggest you try. It won’t get rid of drug toxins, it will just leave you ill and failing a drug test.
Easy Ways To Pass A Drug Test
The only ways to pass a drug test if you are riddled with drug toxins is to either get clean, mask the toxins for a short space of time, or submit a completely fake sample.
All three of those strategies work, as long as you understand how they work, and you buy the products which will help you to achieve them. I’ve used all of these over the past three years to pass pre-employment urine sample drug tests.
Admittedly they were only for low quality part-time work, but the point remains, they all work to pass a urinalysis.
Synthetic Urine
The easiest way to pass a drug test is to submit a sample of fake urine. It’s easy because you’re not submitting your own urine at all, there is literally no risk with drug toxins getting found.
As long as you use high-quality synthetic urine like Sub Solution or Quick Luck, which contain all the things that human urine does, then you literally will not be found out. Just make sure it’s submitted within the right temperature range for human urine and you’ll be fine.
But one important point to make here is that most drug testing outside of law enforcement or the courts is unsupervised. That means you won’t be watched. So submitting a fake sample is the easiest way to pass a drug test.

Natural Detox
If you want to submit your own urine then a natural detox is the way to go, but unfortunately can take a lot of time. If you are a chronic weed smoker it can take up to a month to get free of drug toxins.
